Audition Information:

Audition Eligibility: We encourage performers of all ethnicities, sexual orientations/expressions, and ages (18+) to audition for the show. Must be age 18 at the time of audition.

You must book an audition appointment. No walk ins are permitted. Please reach out to ckendall2@gmail.com if these dates absolutely do not work for you. 

Audition Times:  Sunday, March 22 and Monday, March 23, Sunday March 29, Monday March 30.

Vagina Monologues

An Obie Award-winning whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape and a feminist happy to have found a man who “liked to look at it.”

The Vagina Monologues explores consensual and non-consensual sexual experiences, body image, genital mutilation, direct and indirect encounters with sexual reproduction, vaginal care, menstruation, prostitution, and several other topics through the eyes of women of various ages, races, sexualities and other differences.

The Vagina Monologues is performed by an ensemble of three performers. Each performer will take on multiple monologues and portray a range of characters, voices, and lived experiences throughout the production.

Role assignments will be distributed across the cast following auditions and may involve shifts in tone, style, and perspective from piece to piece.

Please bring a head shot with you to auditions. If you don’t have one, we’ll take a photo of you during your audition.
